It’s almost here! Below is the current itinerary for the Port Clinton and Lake Erie Swim-In
Sunday, July 30th
2 PM: Meet at Arlington Inn. Launch from Clinton Reef Club, and boat to Doc’s Beach House for excellent dining on the beach.If you would like,give rides off the Amphi beach. While there we can discuss options or additions for Monday’s exciting activities,including visits to wineries, mini golf or, the go below to see the world’s largest geode “Crystal Cave”.
Monday, July 31st
10 AM: Meet at Arlington Inn. From there, we’ll take a short caravan to Miller’s Ferry. Capt’n Nick will provide an “Onboard Island Presentation”. Arrive at South Bass Island,caravan downtown to ”Put In Bay” and park on the lawn in front of “The Goat” for Perch Tacos. Enjoy island shopping, and explore the many adjacent coves and Amphi ramps.
Gather for a cool island-hopping Amphi run to Middle Bass Island and a cocktail tour followed by a swim in Burgundy Bay.
Hungry? Time for a Return trip to South Bass Island for the famous Lobster Bisque at The Boardwalk. After dinner, check out all the island has to offer; entertainment, shopping, and rides off the downtown Amphi ramps.
Gather for a “cocktail roll-in” at Joe’s Bar and catch the 8PM ferry. Complete this fantastic
day with a sunset dip off The Catawba Island State Park Amphi ramp.
Tuesday, August 1st
10 AM: Meet at Arlington Inn for the Peninsula Surf & Turf Tour. Highlights include visits to historic lighthouses, and touring throughout the river, harbor, and Amphi ramps. Reconvene for Lunch at Crabby Joe’s.
After lunch, take advantage of all Marblehead peninsula has to offer; famous landmarks and the historic Marblehead Lighthouse, before meeting back up at the Hidden Beach Bar. From there, we embark on the Sandusky Bay Swim. Exit from the secret Amphi Ramp, then proceed to Ciao Bella for a $15 all you can eat pasta feast.
